Although I'm starting New Year with a cold (definitely not how I planned), I'm pretty positive about this yearrr. It's going to be hard as hell, especially because I'm finally finishing high school but am extremely skeptical about going to college in Fall 2010... Maybe I should give up and just wait for 2011? No, I have to somehow be positive about college too... Oh! And I've always wondered how we're going to pronounce 2010. Since, y'know, we're used to saying "oh-eight" or "oh-nine" and such. It's going to be weird just saying "ten."

Oh, that's not a normal way to start thinking about the new year, hm? xD

While attempting to make those ridiculously large anime eyes, I ended up making the whole person's...face since floating eyes are...weird. I didn't do the whole body because I was eager to get a preview up so I can get some pointers and such.

So here:

Her eyes look strange (muy lack of equal leveling and such) because I just copypasta. :D But to get away with it, I was going to...uh...make her as a alien disguised as a human. "OTL GOOD? IS THAT A GOOD IDEA? NO? I KNEW IT.

SCREW THE PEOPLE WHO SAY DRAWING ANIME IS EASY. IT'S NOT. SURE, EASY ON PAPER, BUT WITH PHOTOSHOP AND SUCH? NO. There's shading and linear dodging layers and shading and-- *suicides*

THEY MAKE ME FEEL GREAT. I get all generous and shit (deep down inside - or not very deep at all - I'm too generous AND NOT ONLY ON HOLIDAYS. I got to see Avatar in IMAX 3D today. :D I thought it was an amazing movie. Seriously. The plot wasn't garbage, it was easy to follow and kind of kept you going, "D:" to ":D" over and over. xD The graphics? Well, I needn't say how effin' awesome they are. The whole thing made me wish scientists would hurry up and be able to do the things we're able to do in movies. (;A;) WELL WORTH THE WATCH. BOOTLEG CANNOT CAPTURE IT'S PURE AWESOME. (*w*)

Last Monday I put money in holstering's expired parking meter (14 points). In April I bought porn for ne_zhaley (10 points). Last Wednesday I helped nmrfxxr see the light (8 points). In August I invaded Iraq, broke it, and couldn't glue it back together before Mom got home (-1012 points). In May I ate my brussel sprouts (1 points).

I've been trying to get college-related work done as well, but that - regrettably - is the last thing on my mind. OTL I've rewritten my college admission essay......................again. Hopefully Queens College wants the same or similar essay to the one I'm writing for New Paltz. I'll just get Mrs.Romano to proof it, then I proof it, then hopefully that's it. I don't have time for 4 or more proof-reading.

AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON HOW INTENSE THE DRAMA AMONGST THE PEOPLE I TALK TO IS GETTING.

(;A;) So we had to walk to her house and fiiinally we got to her~ So we hangout while waiting for Eddie to pick us up to go to the library to meet~ ISABEL~~ ♥ So we lounged like bums there, admiring how effin' gawjus the library looks -- IT LOOKS LIKE A HOSPITAL WHEN YOU FIRST WALK IN. D: It freaked me out, actually. (.____.)

Then we all went to Taco Bell after Eddie went to his cousin's house (to just find out they're not hanging out. ahaha~ family is a biiitch D:) then he drove us back to Sharadia's house. We baked brownies, watched Day of the Dead - which was awesome and hilarious - then we watched Courage theeeeeen Inside. That movie is awfully disturbing... But we couldn't finish it together so when I got home, I finished it since it was still on TV.

I have no idea what I'm doing today...other than actually starting my resume - which I'm doing right now~ and it's hard~ becauseIdon'treallydothatmuchforschool. Well, no, it's not that, my awards sections look pitiful. xD

And I'm not made of money so I understand that New Paltz and I are probably not going to happen -- loans and shit might not help. I dunno, we'll see if I even get accepted -- probably not but y'know...I can always hope.

I feel like sewing after that long...long hiatus from not doing so. I have orders to do anyway, so I suppose I'll get started.

That sketchbook assignment is due on Friday and I have yet to fix the Sprite can and add the third can in a different view. :| Sometimes I wonder why I procrastinate so much... Speaking of art, I need to stay after school on tomorrow to either get a move on the Sculpure project or PTG&DWG... that is, if she even let's me choose. xD

Honestly? I would spend it playing all the video games I own, even if I hate them. And stack up on Taco Bell tacos, Big Macs and soda. ♥

I was just thinking about this...and, unfortunately, pissed myself off. :|

This was triggered yesterday in my PTG&DWG class. The students there are so closed-minded it hurts. It's getting on my last nerves and it's not only them. There are many other people just like them. I have yet to meet someone versatile in music taste. It's either "LOL I LOVE ROCK, FUCK EVERYTHING ELSE" and vice versa with any other genre. It's so annoying because if I share something I like, they'd give me that "Eeh...they suck" which basically means "THEY SUCK BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT RAP/ROCK/ETC." And I get strange looks if I tell someone I like Lady Gaga and Avenged Sevenfold or Marilyn Manson and Britney Spears. It's even worse when someone cycles through my iPod.

I don't like a lot of bands/soloists but I don't go around screaming about it at the top of my lungs. If I don't like them, I don't like them. It doesn't mean you have to push you're fucking opinion on me about how "great" they are when I clearly don't like them.

So just shut the fuck up and listen to your music. Don't bitch to me about how much you hate Lady Gaga or Britney Spears or Marilyn Manson. I will listen to my Lady Gaga, dance like an idiot to "The Best Daigo Rap" and sing along to Never Gonna Give You Up. Broaden your fucking horizons or learn to keep your fucking, anti-constructive, poorly thought out opinions to yourself.

One more thing: there is no such thing as you discovering a band and started the trend of people liking the band. That is possibly the most conceited-music-related thing I've ever heard. This sort of thing is disgusting. I've listened to Dir en grey since I was in elementary school, but I don't parade around saying, "I STARTED THE DIRU TREND! I LISTENED TO THEM BEFORE ALL OF YOU GAIZ!" That's just childish. All this means is that I've liked them before they became "popular." I've always thought Diru was pretty popular, but I suppose I was wrong?

Speaking of music, would anyone like to recommend me some? XD ♥ And if anyone is trying to find certain songs, tell me. It's likely that I'll be able to get it for you. ♥
